Do the cabins come furnished with kitchen items and linens?
Yes, each of our cabins is furnished with silverware, dishes, cups and an assortment of cooking pots and bakeware. The kitchens also come with a coffee pot and toaster. Some guests like to bring their own items, like a favorite frying pan or a crockpot. Bed linens are provided for the beds, but if you plan to use the futon for sleeping, you should bring your own sheets and bedding. You’ll also need to bring your own bath and beach towels.
Can we bring pets? Is there an extra charge?
We welcome dogs, as long as they are well behaved and supervised. We do ask that you clean up after your dog, so that we can keep our resort clean and tidy for all guests to enjoy. There is no extra charge for bringing your dog.
Is WiFi Internet available?
Yes. Free WiFi high speed internet is available in the Lodge and the Game Room.
What kinds of fish are in Sand Lake?
Sand Lake, which is part of the Bowstring chain of lakes, is eight miles long and four miles wide. It is home to an abundance of fish, including Walleye, Northern Pike, Large and Small Mouth Bass, Jumbo Perch, Crappies and pan fish.
Can we bring our own boat?
Of course! Your cabin rental includes dock space for your boat. You are also welcome to bring your own canoes and kayaks and other small watercraft. For your convenience, we also offer boat rentals. See our rates page for our prices. Don’t forget to bring boat cushions and life jackets.
Do you have a restaurant at the resort?
No, but we can suggest some great local places to eat. Each cabin also comes with a binder listing local restaurants and activities.
Is there a convenience store at the resort?
We do not have a convenience store on site, but we do sell ice, firewood and gas. The closest convenience store is located in Spring Lake, just six miles from the resort.

What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, personal checks, money orders or travelers checks. Sorry, but we do not take credit cards.
